Highland Photography Cake Smash Prep Guide

Cake Smashes are truly a right of passage for those turning 1 and I cannot wait to document it for you.

Here are some guide preps to help our sessions along.

• You have access to the Client Closet during our pre-cake smash photos, please bring your own outfit for the cake smash.

• Bring water for your child, there’s a lot of sugar hitting them.

• The studio is a new environment, I am a new person to your child, we will let them explore and get comfortable while we chat. They will warm up to me in no time. I’m use to shy children, I’m raising one :)

• I will handle getting your child to smile, if I need help I will ask. This way your child is looking at the camera and not up at you.

• You may want to bring extra clothes for you, you will get dirty.
